The Audit and Accountancy practise of our firm
is managed by the Partners who are all members of the Institute of
Chartered
Accountants of Sri Lanka. The Partners are supported by Audit
Managers who are in charge of planning, execution and supervision
of the audits. The quality of the audit and accountancy practise
is governed by the Sri Lanka Auditing Standards and Sri Lanka
Accounting Standards laid down by the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Sri Lanka and we recommend our clients to comply
with the Companies Act No.17 of 1982 and other relevant statutory
requirements governing their business conduct. In addition to
adhering to these standards and corporate legislation, our audits
are
carried out by implementing the ‘Audit Manual of Grant Thornton
International (GTI)’ and GTI conducts review of all its
representative Firms to ensure quality control and compliance with
GTI standards and procedures. We regularly conduct in-house
courses and workshops to impart and update the necessary skills
and knowledge of our staff in addition to our participation in
overseas training courses and seminars conducted locally.
